Congratulations to the Winners of the Robotics Competition

    CSU Long Beach, California

Special Feature: Nine years old Katie Mason's Robot

Katie is amazing, she wrote her own program for the robot

Very well written program, moves nicely, and it was the only robot controlled from a laptop

Feb 8, 2014 Ambitious Robot BlastOff

Feb 8, 2014 Competition at  Robotics Society of Southern California (RSSC)

Engineering & Computer Science Building, California State University Long Beach

Carlos and I saw many nice robots at the competition. Although we didn't win the race, we learned from being part of the group and this is our conclusion:
  • We have built a solid robot
  • Line Sensor worked well
  • Flame sensor needs improvement
  • Programming was challenging but showed improvement
  • Our robot drove in the maze
  • We worked well together as a team to build our Robot and learned from each other.

Day 15: Preparing for Launching

We installed the fan shown here, but it was later changed to a more
powerful one in the 3rd video shown below.

Still a lot to do to test the code, but all in all we have made improvement
and it has been a great learning experience.
